Finance Minister Smt. Nirmala Sitharaman launches TEXPROCIL’s Advanced Certificate Programme in International Trade at the TEXPROCIL Export Awards held in Mumbai on 25th May 2026.

Greetings from TEXPROCIL.

As you are aware, the Directorate General of Foreign Trade (DGFT), under Para1.30 of the Foreign Trade Policy (FTP) 2023, has mandated Status Holdersto actively contribute towards skilling, mentorship and capacity building ininternational trade by training and guiding professionals engaged inexport activities.

A model training programme of minimum six weeks has also been notified by DGFTfor this purpose vide Trade Notice No. 14/2023-25 dated 12 th July 2023.

In view of the above, TEXPROCIL launched an Advanced Certificate Programmein International Trade (ACPIT) by Hon’ble Finance Minister Smt. NirmalaSitharaman during TEXPROCIL’s Export Awards Function held on 25th May 2026 atHotel Leela, Andheri, Mumbai. The Union Finance Minister highlighted that it’s aninitiative aimed at strengthening India’s export ecosystem.

This structured certification programme of TEXPROCIL is designed in alignment withvarious Government schemes and policy initiatives to enhance the country’s globaltrade competitiveness.

ACPIT is an intensive 8-module practical training programme designed to developfuture-ready export professionals.

The programme aims to provide participants with practical exposure to key aspectsof international trade, including:

1. Export documentation and procedures
2. International trade regulations and compliance
3. Logistics and supply chain management
4. Trade finance and payment mechanisms
5. Export marketing and market development
6. Foreign Trade Policy and export promotion schemes
7. Risk management in international trade
8. Emerging global trade opportunities and best practices

For Status Holder Exporters, the programme offers a structured opportunity to:

• Strengthen the capabilities of their export teams
• Build a skilled talent pool within the organisation
• Enhance operational efficiency and compliance readiness
• Support the spirit of the skilling and mentorship framework envisaged underFTP 2023
• Prepare employees to handle evolving international trade challenges withgreater confidence and expertise

We therefore encourage all Status Holder Exporters to nominate suitable employeesfrom their export, documentation, logistics, marketing, compliance and internationalbusiness departments for this programme.

• Mode: Hybrid (Online + Offline). Offline at TEXPROCIL office
• Commencement: 26 th June 2026. (1 st Batch)
• Duration: Total 5-days (Only on Friday and Saturday. Total one and halfmonth)
• Time: 10.00 AM-5.00 PM
• Course Fee: Rs. 20,000/- +18% GST per participant. Total Rs. 23,600/-
• Terms of Payment: Advance by bank transfer
• Last date of application: 20 th June 2026.
